Album Spotlight: Three Days Grace ‘Transit of Venus’

‘Transit of Venus’ is the fourth studio album by Canadian rock band, Three Days Grace. It was released on October 2, 2012 and was preceded by the single, ‘Chalk Outline’, which was released August 14, 2012. The next single slated for release is ‘The High Road’, which will be released January 22, 2013. The album received mostly positive reviews, critics give the band props for taking a different direction with their music. Loudwire gave the band 4 out of 5 stars and had this to say about the album, “Three Days Grace has stepped out of their comfort zone, ditched the formula, and went all in, holding nothing back in the true spirit of rock.” ARTISTdirect said, “Three Days Grace have undeniably progressed here, and the results are nothing short of incredible.” The band consists of Adam Gontier on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Neil Sanderson on drums, percussion and piano, Brad Walst on bass guitar, and Barry Stock on lead guitar.
