Heavy MTL, which takes place August 10th and 11th, has announced that this year’s headliners will include Avenged Sevenfold, Rob Zombie, Godsmack, Megadeth, Danzig and A Day To Remember. The two day festival will also feature Children of Bodom, Mastodon, August Burns Red, At the Gates, Amon Amarth, Machine Head, Steel Panther, Gwar, Of Mice & Men, Finntroll, Baroness, Wintersun, Obey the Brave, The Acacia Strain, Halestorm, All Shall Perish, Cryptopsy, Augury, Unexpect, Oceano, Within the Ruins, Structures, Blackguard, Slaves on Dope, and Havok.

Founded in 2008, Heavy MTL has become an annual must-see concert festival which is located in the gorgeous city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It takes place at Parc Jean-Drapeau, a gorgeous outdoor venue. Each year festival goers are treated to a strong lineup of hard rock/metal acts. Headliners from years past have included Slipknot, Disturbed, System of a Down, Marilyn Manson, Motley Crue and Iron Maiden.
